Open Water Referral
The quickest way to get certified -- do your theory and pool work with your local dive shop and then finish your course in the crystal clear blue waters of Cozumel.
One of our instructors will guide you through your skills during your required four certification dives. You have the option of doing 2 shore + 2 boat certification dives or 4 boat certification dives.
Duration of course: 2 half days
Note: Ask us about getting certified through NAUI
Requirements
- Minimum age: 10 years old
- Good physical condition (physician's approval not required, but recommended). Must complete the PADI Medical Release Statement
- Referral form from your home instructor
Start Time: Varies, will be established with your instructor upon arrival

- Marine park fees - $6 per day
- Potential $3.50 - $5 per day dock access fee (depending on hotel, check with us)
Additional Information
- All shore dives are done from the shore by our dive shop. You will need to get yourself to the shop to meet with your instructor.
- If you are vacationing with other certified divers, all boat certification dives can be done from the same boat that your friends/family are on.
Cancellations
Cancellation of all scuba courses must be made at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled start time. Otherwise, you will be charged in full for the course.
