Night Dives

image43

Night dives are an incredible experience. After meeting the boat at the dive shop, you will start out to the reef at dusk. Just as the sun is setting and there is a little light left, you will begin the dive. Descending through the ambient light, you'll look down on the reef. Soon it will be completely dark and you'll see a whole new world. The marine life acts differently and you'll see many critters, such as crabs, lobsters and eels, that are normally tucked away in the reef during the daytime.

We offer two different night dive experiences.

Single Tank Night Dive

This trip is a one-tank boat dive. You will depart from the dive shop at dusk and begin your dive as the sunlight fades. Soon it will be completely dark and you'll see the reef life differently than during the daytime.

Twilight/Night Dive

The trip consists of two dives at two different sites with a surface interval in between dives. The first dive is a late afternoon transition (day to night) dive and the second dive is a true night dive.  You will see the marine life behavior change as the sun gets low and it gets darker out.
