Full PADI Open Water ~ NAUI Scuba Diver Certification Course

This is the first exciting step into a lifetime of underwater experiences. Cozumel is the perfect place to get certified. The warm, crystal clear waters are inviting and our instructors are top-notch. 

Our primary goal is to ensure you become a confident, skilled scuba diver who is comfortable diving in many underwater environments. Our instructors have certified over 14,000 divers. They are experts at assessing a student's comfort level and concerns and addressing these early. Both have excellent English and Spanish communication skills. 

Duration of Course: 2-3 half days, depending on how quickly you progress through the academics and skills

Location of Course: The first 1-2 days are taught from our dive shop. The final day of certification is done from the boat. 

Note: Ask us about getting certified through NAUI

• Minimum age: 10 years old
• Good physical condition (physician's approval not required, but recommended). Must complete the PADI Medical Release Statement
• PADI Open Water Manual: PADI Open Water Crew-Pak (can be purchased at a local dive shop, online or the Dive with Martin dive shop at $85 USD. Please check to make sure we have them available before your trip). Each student is required to have their own manual. 
• NAUI Manual: 

• The full attention of one of our skilled dive instructors
• All academic instruction
• All required shallow, confined water dives
• Four certification dives (2 shore, 2 boat dives)
• Certification fee  
• All necessary equipment

• PADI Course: PADI Open Water Crew-Pak  (can be purchased at a local dive shop, online or the Dive with Martin dive shop at $85  USD. Please check to make sure we have them available before your trip). Each student is required to have their own manual.  
• NAUI Course: 
• Marine park fees - $6 per day
• Potential $3.50 per day dock access fee (depending on hotel, check with us) 

• All classroom work and shore dives are done from the shore by our dive shop. You will need to get yourself to the shop to meet with your instructor.
• If you are vacationing with other certified divers, all boat certification dives can be done from the same boat that your friends/family are on. 

Cancellation of all scuba courses must be made at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled start time. Otherwise, you will be charged in full for the course.
