Divemaster Outline

Your first step into professional-level scuba diving. Divemasters are respected dive professionals who lead others on guided dives and assist with diver training. This course involves a combination of dive theory, assisting students, development of in-water skills, and open water diving.

Requirements
PADI Rescue Diver certification (or equivalent)
PADI Emergency First Response
Primary and Secondary Care (CPR and First Aid) training within the past 24 months
A medical release statement signed by a physician within the past 12 months
At least 40 logged dives to begin the course and 60 dives to earn certification
PADI Divemaster Manual
Recreational Dive Planner (all 3 versions - Table, Wheel and eRDP, including Instructions for Use booklets)

Diving Knowledge Workbook
Divemaster Slates
PADI Divemaster Video

Day 1

Starting times: 8:00 AM
Meet at the dive shop with your instructor.

Schedule: 8:00AM - 12:00PM

Day 2

Starting times: 6:20 AM
Meet your instructor and the other Divemasters at the Marina Fonatur to help out with loading tanks, gear, and getting the boats ready for the day.
You'll work alongside your instructor in leading the groups and students. If there are students in the afternoon, you will also help with them.

Schedule: 6:20AM - 4:00PM

Day 3

Starting times: 6:20 AM
Meet your instructor and the other Divemasters at the Marina Fonatur to help out with loading tanks, gear, and getting the boats ready for the day.
You'll work alongside your instructor in leading the groups and students. If there are students in the afternoon, you will also help with them.

Schedule: 6:20AM - 4:00PM

Day 4

Starting times: 6:20 AM
Meet your instructor and the other Divemasters at the Marina Fonatur to help out with loading tanks, gear, and getting the boats ready for the day.
